Heinz

This year Heinz celebrates 150 years. Famous for 57 varieties, the first variety sold by Henry Heinz was Horseradish Sauce. Heinz Tomato Ketchup soon followed and has become the world’s favourite ketchup.

Heinz varieties were first sold in the UK in 1886 from London’s Fortnum & Mason. They soon grew in popularity to become grocery essentials including Heinz Beanz, Pasta, Cream of Tomato Soup and Salad Cream. Now joined by new varieties and formats such as Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise and Beanz in convenient microwaveable snap pots, Heinz is one of the most loved and trusted brands on supermarket shelves.

In this celebratory year, Heinz has engaged consumers with a variety of leading-edge activities such as the launch of Ketchup Caviar, Creme Egg Mayonnaise, a global collaboration with Heinz Tomato Ketchup superfan Ed Sheeran, celebration cupcakes, and a new Masterbrand television campaign, Heinz Makes It Better.
