Robina Agri Partners, the agro-industrial arm of Universal Robina Corporation (URC) proudly created a Philippine-made dog food brand, TopBreed Dog Meal. Robina Agri Partners has been in the feed manufacturing business since 1956 and produces a wide range of branded animal feeds – hogs, poultry, aqua, and dog.

TopBreed Adult Dog and Puppy Meals is currently available in over 2,300 accredited dealers nationwide. TopBreed aims to provide the Top Care and Top Value to dogs and dog owners by ensuring the right balance of nutrients dogs need to achieve a healthy life.

During the development of the product, countless formulations and series of trials were conducted to validate the nutritional claims and benefits of TopBreed. Consequently, one of the country’s known and respected veterinarian, Dr. Nielsen Donato, also participated in the brand’s development of the right formulation based on his expertise, experience, and current clients. He himself could attest to the benefits and positive changes brought on by TopBreed to his very own dogs. His experience and trust with the brand easily convinced him to become TopBreed’s Ambassador in the Philippines.

The focus of the TopBreed formulation is in the implementation of the right crude protein (CP) ratio that is suited to today’s companion dogs. This ensures that the protein levels follows the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) standards to minimize the possible health issues that today’s dogs suffer from (e.g. liver and kidney problems).
