During the development of the product, countless formulations and series of trials were conducted to validate the nutritional claims and benefits of TopBreed. Consequently, one of the country’s known and respected veterinarian, Dr. Nielsen Donato, also participated in the brand’s development of the right formulation based on his expertise, experience, and current clients. He himself could attest to the benefits and positive changes brought about by TopBreed to his very own dogs. The focus of TopBreed’s formulation is in the implementation of the right crude protein (CP) levels and other essential nutrients that are suited to today’s companion dogs. The protein levels followed by the brand were based on the guidelines set by Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) and European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF) to achieve growth and maintenance requirements and minimize the possible health issues that today’s dogs suffer from (e.g. liver and kidney problems).
