Bahrain’s most celebrated waterpark, The Lost Paradise of Dilmun is celebrating its 15th anniversary since its opening in 2007.
Then and now:
During its early days, the waterpark was built with the intent of preserving the prominence of Bahrain’s Dilmun era, depicting elaborate and ancient inspired replicas, intricate wall carvings and various inspired installations, while creating a one-of-a-kind waterpark oasis for the kingdom. Considered as one of the largest standalone water parks in the Middle East and the first and largest in Bahrain, covering an overall area of approximately 77,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 45,000 square meters, that can accommodate 5,000 visitors every day.
Today, with more than 22 slides and attractions – The Lost Paradise of Dilmun maintains its commitment, evident through various accolades awarded by international safety and security giving bodies, practicing high standards and operating procedures from external to internal operations.
Throughout the years the waterpark has continually, developed programs that meet the needs of the ever-changing guest demands alongside adhering and elevating industry practices.
